Your sales for the period July 1st through July 31st totaled $71,500. You received the top prize of $250.

Contest rules stated that orders must be sold and installed by the last day of the month. Systems records show that on July 30th you entered a $2,800 order (#695477) for the Logan Corporation. On July 31st you put the order on hold. Then on August 1st you changed the installation date to October 1st. A company representative called the Logan Corporation to inquire about the order. The customer said they did not place that order.

The purpose of this memo is to inform you that we find you in violation of the rules of the contest. Consequently, I am obliged to issue this written warning. You are being placed on probation for the remainder of August, September, October, and November.

The terms are as follows:

• No participation in sales contests for the entirety of the probationary period

• Reimburse the company for the $250 gift certificate

• Be at or above 105 percent of quota at the end of the probationary period

Please be informed that any future or discoveries of past misconduct will result in immediate dismissal. It is my hope that you achieve these goals.
